DMP was appointed by MSP to prepare a design proposal and motivation pertaining to the densification of Phase B of Buh-Rein Estate, Cape Town. Phase B comprises five development blocks consisting of numerous apartment buildings and a retirement component.
In essence the objective was to prepare a new SDP which would be aligned with the new suite of planning legislation that had come into effect on 1 January 2016. This had to be done with due regard for the large retirement centre of approximately 472 apartments and institutional facilities to be to developed on Block 1 (located between Lanzerac Avenue and Buh-Rein Road).
